Property Description

The Crown Jewel of Century Hill once home to an entertainment legend. Behind the gates of Century Hill, one of Century City's most coveted guard-gated communities, its crown jewel has been completely reimagined with bespoke finishes and sweeping panoramic city-to-mountain views from all living spaces. Spanning 6,555 square feet, rising to a expansive private rooftop terrace with up to 1500 total feet of outdoor space, this five-bedroom penthouse is the largest residence in Century Hill, finished with a level of craftsmanship rarely found outside a custom estate. A grand skylit marble gallery framed by marble-cased doorways are made to showcase a serious art collection. Beyond, ceilings soar to nearly 20 feet above hand-applied Venetian plaster walls & ceilings, vanilla quartzite marble & Canadian white oak floors, and custom designer lighting throughout. The grand living room centers on a silver travertine fireplace opening onto dual balconies with city views, while the family room is built for entertaining with a black & gold veined quartzite fireplace, full wet bar with marble countertop and Sub-Zero wine & beverage fridge. The elegant formal dining room is framed in rich walnut cabinetry, marble-cased doorways & a Shakuff glass chandelier. A jewel-box powder room glows with a backlit onyx counter & gold vessel sink & Swarovski crystal faucet. A second guest bath is clad in stone. The chef's kitchen showcases Calacatta Viola countertops & island with induction cooktop, rift white oak & backlit glass cabinetry, and Wolf & Sub-Zero appliances. Kitchen opens into a sunlit glass conservatory breakfast room with a built-in Wolf coffee system overlooking the formal gardens. Behind the scenes, a full butler's kitchen in Viola marble, with its own Sub-Zero appliances supports effortless entertaining. Every bedroom has its own full bath. The primary suite is a private retreat offering a private entrance, a morning bar with Wolf coffee station and fridge, a Calacatta Machia Vechia fireplace and a private terrace with city and mountain views. Expansive walk-in closets with dual dressing areas and custom lighting. Dual baths are joined by an luxurious infrared sauna, appointed with a gold freestanding slipper tub, Versace wallpaper, Leathered Taj Mahal marble counters and skylight. A second primary suite offers a balcony, walk-in closet and a skylit travertine bath with walnut cabinetry. A guest suite with skylights and picture windows frames treetop and city views, and the stunning office is enclosed in brass-framed glass. Upstairs, a skylit loft with herringbone floors, walk-in closet and bath serves as a fifth bedroom, game room or studio, with a glass slider to the rooftop terrace featuring new Brazilian teakwood decking, custom awning, a spa and a fully equipped kitchen with serving bar and pass-through window all setting the stage for entertaining against city views from the skyline to the Hollywood Hills.
